Expansion Manager (M/F/D)

Your mission

As Expansion Manager you will contribute to continue UGG’s growth story. To win municipal cooperations, you develop new sales approaches and react quickly to changing market conditions. You lead and coordinate all negotiations with municipal authorities to obtain support in the implementation of fibre in the respective region and maintain close relationships with them. As well you have to supervise our regional partners in the municipality approach.

• Execution of expansion strategy in respective region
• Conducting talks and negotiations on public concession and cooperation agreements with local authorities and municipal administrations on fiber-optic rollout
• Continue support of the municipalities in the development of the digital infrastructure
• Presentation of planned projects to political bodies and decision-makers
• Acting as internal interface to other corporate divisions to ensure a uniform appearance of UGG in region
• Manage and steer 3rd party activities and report on urgent support needs

Your profile

• University degree with a focus on business/sales. Alternatively, successfully completed training with a commercial focus and professional experience in these areas.
• 3 to 7 years of experience in conceptual / strategic work, either in a strategy consultancy, the strategy department of a company or a comparable role with strategic and quantitative issues.
• Ideally, knowledge of the telecommunications industry, in particular the market environment and the regulatory framework for fiber rollout
• Very good understanding of commercial concepts, processes and procedures
• Agile mindset as well as great motivation to take on a technical leadership role and drive topics forward together with the teams
• Fluent in German and English
