What we expect

Job Description

A Telecommunications Lineman is responsible for navigating the placement of fiber optic cable within the Commercial Space (Comm Space).

Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

  • Promoting safety consciousness and adherence to OSHA, MAD, utility, federal, state and local safety requirements
  • Installing, repairing and maintaining overhead and underground fiber optic cable within the power space
  • Communicating with customers to address customer concerns in a professional manner

Job Requirements

  • Strong work tenure as a Lineman, municipality experience preferred
  • OSHA 30 Certification
  • Expert knowledge of 1910.269 Standard
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Good time management skills
  • Proficient knowledge in operation of Ariel Lifts
  • Ability to work a variable schedule, to include on-call rotation, days/nights and weekends as needed
