Fiber Cable Splicer (Telecommunication)

H&M is also a founding member of the ET&D Partnership, a collaborative industry partnership working to reduce fatalities, injuries, and illnesses in the construction industry is currently recruiting for Cable Splicers in the Portland, OR area to join our telecommunications team.

Qualification:

• Must be proficient splicing both Ribbon and Loose Tube Fusion Splicing techniques and standards.
• Must have working knowledge and ability to operate OTDR, OLM, Fujkura 70R and 50R Fusion Splicer.
• Must be able follow verbal and written communications.
• Must perform all duties in a safe, efficient manner and follow safety guidelines and wear personal protective equipment at all times.
• Able to lift 50 Pounds.
• Able to work outdoors in all Environments (Heat, cold, and Rain)
• Must have positive can do attitude.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Windows.
• A valid commercial driver license with medical certificate preferred
