Job Title: Fiber Splicer
Location(s): South Central Kentucky
Job Description: Way-Cor Solutions, LLP is a telecommunications company that provides broadband internet infrastructure solutions for commercial and residential customers. Splicers will be responsible for prepping, splicing, and installing field and office enclosures.
Requirements:
Loose tube fiber splicing – 1 year
Fiber color codes
Use of fiber fusion splicer and test equipment
Ability to read and understand splice diagrams
Possess a valid state driver’s license.
Positive interaction with Customers.
Exceptional safety record.
Physical Requirements:
Stand, walk, sit, bend, kneel, stoop, crouch, crawl, and climb.
Lift and move items over 50 pounds.
Vision requirements: close, distance, peripheral, color, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
Perform duties in all weather conditions.
Work in elevated and confined spaces (approx. 30ft).
Willing to travel to job sites.
Clearance:
Selected applicants may be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for
access to classified information. Dependent upon work to be done on military installations and their requirements.
Background Check:
Offers are contingent upon successful completion of professional reference checks, employment history verification,
and background screening.
Drug Screening:
