Overview:
Innexus Technical Services is looking for Fiber Optic Technicians to work in Edmonton and area. Successful candidates will have good communications skills, pay attention to detail and have the ability to interact professionally with coworkers and clients. Must be able to work in various environments including commercial, offices, retail, residential as well as indoors and outdoors. Travel may also be required.
Job Responsibilities:
-Installation of Fiber Optic Cabling.
-Terminating of Fiber Optic Cabling.
-Testing of Fiber Optic Cabling.
-Installation of Fiber Optic Hardware.
-Installation of some conduit and raceway.
-Other tasks as assigned.
Job Qualifications:
-Structured Cabling, Telecommunications and/or IT experience an asset.
-FOA certifications an asset.
-Current First Aid/EWP/Fall Protection tickets an asset.
-Have PPE (steel toe boots/hardhat/glasses/vest).
-Comfortable working at heights (on a ladder or lift) and able to carry 50lbs.
-Familiar with basic construction (drilling/measuring/reading prints).
-Own basic hand tools.
-Have clean drivers abstract and own vehicle for transportation to site.
-Have no criminal record.

Salary: $20.00-$30.00 per hour
