Provide assistance to crew and supervisors / management with duties in the field and shop.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Have or acquire a class 3 licence with Q endorsement
- Able to work on a 24 hour on call basis
- Complete driver evaluation
- Complete basic safety courses
- Complete customer safety courses as required
- Ability to follow instructions and lead by example
- Service pressure control equipment
- Complete Level 2 pressure equipment certification
- Assist Fiber Optic Supervisor with winch operations and surface data collection
- Advanced pre / post job duties (tickets, reports, hazard ID, program gauges / recorders, etc.)
- Advanced wellbore mechanics and designs
- Connect and perform QC/QA on optical connections
- Assist Fiber Optic Supervisor with operating OTDR and fusion splicer
- Understand and operate portable grease injection units (critical sour wells)
- Competent skill set and understanding of pneumatic banding/clamping tools
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Ability to follow instruction
- Demonstrates a positive attitude and qualities of a team player
Education and Experience
- 18 years of age
- Successful completion of the pre-hire testing (physical / hearing test / drug screen)
