Fiber Splicer

Description:

Seeking an experienced or entry-level Fiber Splicer, you will be responsible for proper preparation and splicing of fiber optic cable within a telecommunications systems.

Responsibilities:

• Read understand, interpret, input, and analyze data with a high degree of accuracy and completeness
• Proper preparation and splicing of fiber optic cable within a telecommunications system
• Test, activate, and troubleshoot equipment after installation
• Complete daily production reports

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

• Ability to use hand and power tools
• Previous experience splicing fiber optic cable preferred, but not required
• Ability to distinguish colors
• Must be able to lift/carry50 lbs regularly
• Must be able t work in all weather conditions
• Clean driving record to operate company vehicle
• Good attitude, willing to learn
