Brief

Fibre Project Coordinator needed for a rapidly expanding full fibre broadband provider based in the wider High Wycombe area who are looking to employ an experienced and well versed Fibre Project Coordinator to manage the full end-to-end fibre provisioning process for all our backhaul connectivity, working closely with our fibre carrier partners and providing clear, concise and regular updates to internal stakeholders.

What the role entails:

As a Fibre Project Coordinator you will be responsible for:

  • Managing the full end-to-end fibre provisioning process for backhaul connectivity orders through collaboration with our fibre carrier partners ensuring orders are completion in line with standard lead times
  • Keeping internal and external facing project controls/trackers up to date with information provided from various projects teams
  • Effectively communicating with all project stakeholders, providing precise and accurate order progression updates
  • Arranging access appointments and requests through for both in-house and third-party engineering teams
  • Managing and raising escalations/DSOs on orders that would be at risk of elapsing target completion or impact SLAs
  • Supporting with process mapping across the program with an aim to standardize best practice and policy adherence
  • Raising risks and project slippages to the project team

What experience you need to be a successful Fibre Project Coordinator:

  • The ability to problem-solve and multi-task in a fast-paced and challenging work environment
  • Have a well-rounded understanding of fibre networks (FTTP/FTTC/FTTH) and the telecoms industry
  • Excellent communication and organization skills with the ability to effectively communicate to/with virtual teams (cross-team/departmental)
  • Have care and take pride in details being correct and handle large data sets with diligence, understanding its importance and impact
  • The ability to build and maintain collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • The ability to talk the ‘same language’ as civils and cabling contractors
  • CEMAR experience is advantageous
  • Proficient in working with Microsoft 365 products, Excel, PowerPoint and Project
  • Working closely with third party providers and obtaining the relevant information
  • Knowledge of how a projects team works and basic knowledge of a PMO
