Our Telecommunications (Telstra) team require an experienced Field Manager to join their team in Brisbane. You will be required to travel throughout Qld and northern NSW. The purpose of this role is to achieve optimum production and cost outcomes through the management of direct labour and subcontractors in a healthy and safe work environment.

About the Role
Some of your key accountabilities will encompass:
HSE Management – monitoring HSE performance, adherence to all policies/procedures/processes, training & inductions, prestarts, and toolbox meetings
Project Delivery – oversee work, analyse production methods and performance against schedule, understanding contractual obligations of company and subcontractors and undertake Asbuilts
Subcontractor and Direct Labour Management – resource management, compliance with safe standards and monitor work performance
Quality and Standards – ensure standards and ITPs are met, drive continuous improvement and streamline operations
Reporting – daily site events, progress reports, variations and work volumes
Planning and scheduling of work and timelines, allocating resources and equipment
About You
To be successful in this role must be able to demonstrate experience in a similar role, with sound communication and the ability to solve problems in pressurised environments.
Relevant trade qualification with the ability to read and understand construction plans
Understanding of the Telstra Optical Fibre Network
Willingness to travel for work (including remote areas)
Construction white card
Driver’s licence
Computer competency (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Teams)
