Field Manager – Fiber to the Home

NTFS is looking for a Field Manager in Brooks, Alberta. Your duties may include the following:

• Technical Field Manager with hands on attitude
• Supervising, coordinating, and scheduling the daily activities of tradespeople for the completion of last mile (to the home) fiber drops and home equipment installs in Brooks, Alberta.
• Coordinating work activities with the subcontractors
• Conducting home site surveys for conduit runs.
• Establishing methods to meet work schedules and coordinating work activities with other departments.
• Resolving work problems and recommending measures to improve productivity and product quality
• Ordering/maintaining materials and supplies
• Ensuring work site safety procedures and company policies are followed.
• Ensuring standards for safe working conditions are observed.
• Recommending actions to improve processes.
• Preparing schedules, work progress, updating completions to H.O. and other reports as needed.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• Basic smartphone skills
• Supervising, coordinating, and scheduling the activities of related work.
• The goal of this position is to ultimately hire an individual to become proficient in all aspects of the work and processes for future projects/deployments. Some sales related and client follow ups may be required.

Experience

• Experience with FTTH or applicable construction including underground and civil construction or related experience an asset.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $45,000.00-$65,000.00 per year
