Looking for an opportunity to make a difference? Then you may have found your next career move. The Field Office Assistant is responsible for performing routine clerical and organizational tasks that effectively support the operations of a construction field office.
What you’ll do…
- Provide administrative support on various telecommunications construction projects.
- Assist field operations with the completion of daily time sheets
- Verifying the accuracy and performing quality checks of various payroll, production and billing information
- Assist with the preparation and updating of cable system as-builts and maps (engineering documents/drawings) to show construction progress.
- Read, comprehend, and utilize cable system maps and plans (will train).
- Communicate with corporate office, customer & subcontractors to resolve any issues with submitted paperwork.
- Operate fax machines, videoconferencing and phone systems, and other office equipment.
- Perform data entry as needed.
- Use computers for spreadsheets, word processing, database management, and other applications.
- Complete forms in accordance with company policies & procedures
- Field telephone calls, receive and direct visitors.
- Performing other various clerical duties as assigned by Supervisor.
Qualifications:

- Must have strong/advanced computer capabilities in Microsoft Word, Excel, email & internet research
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work on multiple projects with short term goals.
- Problem-solving skills and a high attention to detail are required.
- Must have outstanding quality control skills.
- Must be able to pass criminal background and drug screening.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.
