Director of Field Operations

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Coordinate with all company Superintendents and Project Managers within the company to ensure project completion while staying apprised of job progress.
- Project Types: Commercial, Industrial, Multi-Family, and Mixed-Use Developments.
- Ensure that each assigned project is run efficiently to maximize profitability, remains on schedule, and within budget.
- Maintain the Project Schedule by directing the work of contractors so as to achieve the prescribed logical sequence of Work, maintain the scheduled duration of the components of the Work, resolve conflicts as they may arise, and obtain responses from Project Managers to requests for information from the field.
- Ensure that quality control meets Company standards
- Be the point person for all field issues pertaining to projects including material quantity issues, and other-vendor issues.
- Report onsite issues to the project manager in a timely manner; present and discuss possible solutions quickly to ensure change order approvals.
- Prepare agendas for weekly job meetings together with the Superintendents and Project Manager s input and lead these meetings.
- Ensure that all contractors are using the appropriate and current revision to the plans in the field.
- Work hand-in-hand with the Project Managers and Senior Superintendents on the effectiveness of weekly contractor meetings.

Preferred Qualifications: *_
- At least 5+ years of field coordination experience, or relevant commercial construction project experience.
- Proven track record of meeting deadlines and completing projects within budget
- Ability to read, understand, and interpret contracts, plans, specifications, and scopes of work
- Must have the ability to work independently, be self-directed, and able to take the initiative in seeking efficiencies of processes
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook other tools used for communication purposes
- Extensive people skills (proven history of working well with all field staff, project managers, subcontractors, owners, and architects)
