Job Summary
Vantage Point is a Telecommunications Consulting and Engineering firm, seeking full time Customer Premises technicians. PLEASE NOTE: A LOT OF TRAVEL REQUIRED. We invite experienced technicians as well as trainees to apply.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Field Services Technicians schedule and coordination with contractors
- Installation and termination of low voltage cabling
- Home network electronics wiring and troubleshooting
- Material management
- Travel
- Good communication skills to discern customer/client needs
- Verify service by testing equipment and cabling
- Perform troubleshooting & strive to resolve issues
Qualifications and Skills
- Valid Driver’s License
- Ability to work under minimal supervision
- Organizational skills
- Mechanical skills
- Effective communication skills
- Ability & willingness to travel
- Basic knowledge of telecommunications industry is a plus, but not required
