Job Summary

Vantage Point is a Telecommunications Consulting and Engineering firm, seeking full time Customer Premises technicians. PLEASE NOTE: A LOT OF TRAVEL REQUIRED. We invite experienced technicians as well as trainees to apply.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Field Services Technicians schedule and coordination with contractors
  • Installation and termination of low voltage cabling
  • Home network electronics wiring and troubleshooting
  • Material management
  • Travel
  • Good communication skills to discern customer/client needs
  • Verify service by testing equipment and cabling
  • Perform troubleshooting & strive to resolve issues

Qualifications and Skills

  • Valid Driver’s License
  • Ability to work under minimal supervision
  • Organizational skills
  • Mechanical skills
  • Effective communication skills
  • Ability & willingness to travel
  • Basic knowledge of telecommunications industry is a plus, but not required
