Field Service Technician – BELL Fiber Optic/Copper

CONNEXTIONS LTD is looking to hire focused and dedicated individuals to be trained as Telecommunication Technicians representing one of Canada’s leading service providers – DSL, TV, Home Phone & Smart Home Security.

Service work areas we are hiring for primarily is Winnipeg, MB and surrounding area—

Relocation assistance from out of province candidates.

Full time Sub-contractor and In-house employee positions available.

Responsibilities:

• Install and repair DSL, TV, Home Phone systems.

• Provide best in class customer experience.

• Identify customers’ needs, explain various products and provide tutorials on equipment.

• Adhere to all safety policies and procedures

Experience:

• Previous experience is preferred but not necessary.

• Familiarity with hand and power tools an asset

• Ability to handle physical workload; working from heights in various weather conditions.

• Strong troubleshooting and critical thinking skills

Position Requirements

• Minimum: High School diploma, post secondary diploma preferred.

• Basic computer skills and understanding of common consumer electronic devices.

• Must have a valid driver’s license with insurable driver’s abstract.

• Will undergo a security background check

• Subcontractor is required to provide their own work vehicle and tools – company vehicle option is available.

• In-house employee position with company work van is available to qualified applicants.

Compensation:

• Paid training allowance.

• Guaranteed minimum weekly compensation

• Piece rate option

• Quarterly performance bonus

Salary: $20.00-$25.00 per hour
