JOB TITLE: Field Service Technician

GENERAL JOB OVERVIEW
The Field Services Technician will perform installations at customer locations for wireless internet, phone, and tv services.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform installations at customer locations for wireless internet, phone, and tv services
- Perform service calls to customer locations to repair wireless internet, phone, and tv services and equipment
- Install and adjust wireless internet radios and satellite dishes
- Install and replace ethernet and coax cabling in and around building structures
- Configure routers and router technologies
- Assist customers with connecting devices to the internet, set up tv receivers and remotes, and repairing other problems related to internet, phone, and tv services
- Will be required to travel to Evansville, IN to obtain inventory for jobs
COMPENTANCIES
- Climb and scale small towers or buildings, roofs, tv towers, ladders from 22-30 ft tall
- Basic understanding of technology and networking
- Must possess excellent customer service skills
- Must be able to handle and resolve complaints in a timely manner
- Must have active listening skills
- Valid Driver’s License
- Good Driving Record
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION
- High School Diploma or GED
- Construction or hands-on outside work experience
- Candidates with experience with Agile Networks, Level-3, TSC, NK Telco, Amplex, Blue Sky and other WISPs or cable companies in your area are desired.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
- Indoor and Outdoor work
- Must work in most weather conditions
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
- Walk, stand, climb, bend, stoop, crawl, lift, drive, sit, listen
- Fit and crawl in tight spaces such as crawl spaces and basements
- Climbing 22-30 ft heights on ladders
- Driving Vehicle
