Our technicians both install and repair telecom services in Brandon and the surrounding areas. They work with copper network systems and fiber optic systems. They are the face of the company and work the front line in the field.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
– Providing exceptional customer service in all aspects of the position
– Installing and repairing residential and business TV, internet, and phone services
– Using a range of telecom specific tools effectively and precisely
– Work in all weather conditions and indoor settings
– Build your skills relating to the position and maintain this knowledge
Requirements of this position:
– Utilize your own vehicle, capable of safely carrying a 24ft fibreglass ladder.
– Work at heights in all of our prairie weather conditions.
– Ensure your tools are kept in good, working condition at all times.
– Working safely and responsibly by following all safety policies
– Satisfactory criminal record check must be completed
– Cell phone with data, to maintain communication with the control centre (phones may be provided in 2022/2023)
This is a subcontracted with myITsource. You must provide your own vehicle and tools, all material and equipment necessary for performing installs and repairs is provided at no cost.
This position will be primarily hiring for EVENINGS and WEEKENDS. We have a requirement from our supplier we have to meet, so the shifts could be different days and times. Plenty of notice is given as to what the shifts will be. Time off requests will be accommodated to the best of our ability.
