Field Supervisor

Couey’s Advanced Telecommunications Venture, LLC is a reputable utility construction company whose main focus is fiber optics. We are currently seeking a Field supervisor. Job requirements are as follows;

• Communicating with Director of Operations to ensure that the project design is accurate before work for an area commences.
• Ordering and scheduling the delivery of all equipment needed for the project.
• Acting as the main point of communication between the field and the office.
• Managing the work schedules and timecards for all field staff.
• Providing leadership to on-site staff, sub-contractors, and other parties.
• Investigating and resolving customer complaints.
• Ensuring that safety policies are strictly adhered to.
• Reviewing project progress to ensure that deadlines are met.
• Supervise In house and Subcontractors by assisting/selecting and evaluating them as well as monitoring and controlling their performance.
• Travel to and supervise multiple sites during the course of the day.
• Accomplish project goals by defining scope and purpose of the project, determining required resources, allocating resources, establishing protocols and standards, scheduling staff, resolving design problems, evaluating deadline estimates and adjusting as needed, and implementing change orders.
• Meet operational standards by resolving problems, contributing information to strategic plans, and identifying improvements.
• Scheduling and supervising staff to maintain equipment and tools, providing knowledge when needed.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $65,000.00 – $80,000.00 per year

Education:

• High school or equivalent (Preferred)

Experience:

• Supervising: 2 years (Required)
• Horizontal drilling: 2 years (Required)
• Fiber optics installation: 1 year (Required)

License/Certification:

• Driver’s License (Required)

Willingness to travel:

• 100% (Required)
