Field System Engineer (Telecom)

Title: Field System Engineer (VoIP)

Location: REMOTE REMOTE REMOTE with up to 20% travel
Salary: $150k – $175k + bonus + full benefits
Requirements: You need to have a strong technical background. Experience with Cisco, Telephony, VoIP, and SIP is a huge plus!

What You Will Be Doing

– Work with customers and field teams to provide mobility solutions- troubleshoot and resolve complex issues

  • Effectively communicate our product and service offerings via phone, web, and live engagements
  • Perform deep dive analysis on various technical problems to help identify and evaluate potential product solutions for customers

– Maintain knowledge of Cisco devices, and wireless android smartphone devices- including hardware and software features

  • Continue high-touch customer and partner engagement on existing accounts.
  • Provide technical expertise in sales calls and solution presentations with the account teams
  • This role may require up to 20% travel


What You Need for this Position

  • BS Degree or better in a Computer Science or related field or equivalent work experience
  • 3+ years of working experience with enterprise-level, cloud systems, SaaS solutions, and/or Enterprise Mobile Solutions. You may be a fit for this position if you have experience working as a Sales Engineer, Solutions Architect, Systems Engineer, Field Engineer, Technical Account Manager, etc
  • You need to have a strong technical background
  • You need to have sales and strong presentation/ communication skills, including interacting with C-level and key enterprise stakeholders in a complex sales cycle
  • This role may require up to 20% travel

Experience with the following is desired:

  • Cisco-based products

– Telecom – Telephony/ VoIP/ SIP

  • Wired and wireless network systems
  • Android OS
