ABOUT THE DIVISION
Financial & Professional Services division (FPS) division has significant scale with c£130m revenue generated by 30+ specialist businesses organised into 4 distinct pillars – Next Gen; Events; Derivatives; People Intelligence – which are supported by a dedicated global team of approximately 1,200 people.
FPS provides critical and often industry-standard information, events, and tools to help our clients make high value decisions. Our vision is to become embedded in our customer workflow through actionable intelligence and insights, strengthening relationships and aligning decision makers.
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
This is an interim position, for 6 months with potential for extension, within the divisional financial control team to provide support to Financial Control team following FPS restructuring and acquisitions.

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
This is an interim position, for 6 months with potential for extension, within the divisional financial control team to provide support to Financial Control team following FPS restructuring and acquisitions.
Key accountabilities:
- Representing FPS for migration to NetSuite from legacy systems. This will include, but will not be limited to, (i) mapping to Euromoney COA, (ii) populating templates with customer, vendor and revenue recognition information, (iii) system testing, (iv) business readiness reviews
- Representing FPS for migrations to Salesforce from legacy systems
- Reviewing R2R accounting processes, design and implement standard operating procedure for the divisional management accounts function (e.g. journal process, reconciliations and reports)
- Ensuring P2P and O2C processes can be adopted by Central Function
- Reviewing and document processes and controls including payment processes
- Driving efficiency in the team by helping to utilize systems available (mainly NetSuite)
- Challenging established thinking by applying sound, impartial and professional judgement.
- Other ad-hoc tasks and projects as assigned by the Financial Controller
SKILLS/
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
Experience and Qualifications:
- Qualified Accountant (ACA, CIMA or ACCA)
- ERP systems implementations ideally O2C, P2P and R2R and NetSuite
- Experience in setting up repeatable efficient processes and controls
- Intermediate/advanced Excel skills and experience including building excel models and manipulation and analysis of large data files
- Excellent attention to detail
- Technical competence in ERP finance systems, ideally NetSuite.
