The ideal Candidate will be a self starter & leader in the telecommunications industry. Most of our projects are located in Alberta, British Columbia, and Northwest Territories. The Foreman / General Foreman will oversee projects any where from $1M – $10M in value and be comfortable with managing cost, safety, schedule and quality on the project.
Responsibilities:
- Project accountability
- Implement and lead company safety program & policies
- Supervise direct forces & subcontractors
- Manage productivity, quality, & schedule.
- Successfully utilize & manage labor, material, and equipment
- Manage, coordinate, & deliver schedule milestone
- Project Planning
- Project reporting & communicating on project status
- Manage & coordinate subcontractors
- Responsible for managing & coordinating equipment, suppliers, and labor on site
- Build & maintain client relationship
Qualifications:
- Previous telecommunication experience (minimum 3 years)
- Strong writing & communicating abilities
- Monitor and lead multiple teams
- Experience in labor cost planning & Scheduling
- Understanding of commuter skills (i.e// word, excel, outlook, etc)
- Strong negotiation skills
- Contract & subcontract management skills
- Solid understanding of cost & schedule knowledge
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong Leadership skills
