Job Description
- Hours: Project-based, ranging from 7.5h to 37.5h per week over approx. 6 months to 12 months
- Rate: 45EUR – 65EUR per hour (DOE)
- Location: Work from home, although being based in/near Munich, Germany, is preferable so that you can easily attend face-to-face meetings

Role
There are two aspects to this role;
1.) Value Proposition and Content Writing (for the first 50% of the project only)
2.) Partner Marketing Campaign Management (throughout the project but more so for the second 50% of the project)
Value Proposition and Content Writing
This aspect of the role will require you to have an excellent understanding of how to build compelling narratives combined with strong writing skills.
You’ll need a problem-solving attitude to creating messages that will stand out to a specific audience, while explaining clearly and concisely what value our clients can provide.
You’ll also need an inquisitive mind, perseverance and a passion for B2B marketing, IT and technology.
You will be supporting the Delivery Director and Client Success Team in the creation of value propositions for one of our key client accounts in the IT sector. Following our proven methodology you will:
- Conduct desk research as required to build knowledge of the audience and marketplace
- Support the running of/run value proposition development workshops
- Run investigative telephone interviews with clients and/or their partners
- Create the required messaging frameworks and propositions
- Test the proposition with clients and gather feedback
- Refine the proposition based on feedback and drive it through to completion and sign off
- Support the development of/develop marketing assets and sales materials based on the propositions
Partner Marketing Campaign Management
- Point of contact – Lead the day-to-day campaign interactions with the client
- Strategic perspective – To understand the Go-To-Market plan (GTM) / agreed Scope of Work (SoW) and ensure it is delivered and meets the objectives and measures
- Step-by-step move forward – To determine the week-by-week actions in order to execute the plan and drive them forward
- Accountability – To drive the governance calls and make sure that everyone is held accountable
- Check and balance – To regularly take a step back and consider if the actions are taking the plan in the right direction. Red flag with Coterie Client Success Manager if they aren’t so that together we can manage with the client
- Adapt – To adapt the plan if the conditions/requirements change (within reason). Flag scope creep to the Coterie Client Success Manager
- Measure – To report on the project status using the project tracker (weekly) and the GTM dashboard (monthly)
- Refer up-sell and cross-sell opportunities – identify any up-sell and cross-sell opportunities. Refer to the Client Success Manager via an internal email or on the weekly internal call – not on the client weekly call
- On-time – To keep the project moving to timescales by ensuring the actions are progressed. Follow-up each week. Agree on an escalation point within the client if actions aren’t progressing
- On budget – To keep to the budget that has been assigned to you for your time, and flag any overpacing with the Client Success Manager. Work with the Coterie team to ensure the project is on budget
Location
- This is a work-from-home position, although being based in/near Munich, Germany, is preferable so that you can easily attend face-to-face meetings

Experience
- Experience working for businesses in the IT, Systems Integrator or Telecoms/Network space
- Good knowledge and interest of the industry and related technology including; Cloud, Network – NFV/SDN, Security, IoT, Digitalisation, Vertical markets
- Proposition/solution marketing management or senior communications management experience – minimum 5 years
- Copywriting experience
- Strong understanding of the difference between the end customer/business-focused messaging and different message applications and styles based on purpose/use
- Able to extract key messages and information from internal stakeholders and translate that into customer value based on understanding of the end customer needs
- Evidence of having delivered and overseen strategic partner marketing campaigns
- At least 5 years of experience working with partners or within channel environments
- Agency experience desirable
Qualifications
- Educated to degree level – (marketing or business degree preferable)
- CIM accredited – desirable
Job Type: Subcontract
Salary: 45.00€ – 65.00€ per hour
