Day to Day:
· Our client, a Federal Contractor specializing in Grants Management and Program Support, is looking to bring on a team of Grants/ Merit Reviewers. You will be reviewing grants specific to network and wired broadband infrastructure upgrades. We are looking for individuals who can judge the technical accuracy of the grants as it relates to wired networks. This position is fully remote, and we will provide company laptop and equipment for use. Hours are flexible, but 40 hours a week is expected. Benefits are included. This position is a short-term contract and pays weekly. Additional responsibility listed below:
o Conduct merit reviews for grant applications to evaluate technical viability and develop written insights and recommendations
o Use an online tool/checklist and user guide and follow prescribed steps to review applications and move them forward in the application review process
o Responsible for quality assurance practices and fostering completion and accuracy of tasks
o Attend all required trainings; all trainings and technology enablement will be provided by the project team
Must Have:
· Bachelor’s degree Telecom/ Network/ Infrastructure related field
· Minimum 4 years of experience in wired broadband network engineering
Pluses:
· Experience reviewing or writing federal grants is HIGHLY desirable
Job Types: Full-time, Contract, Temporary
Pay: $34.00 – $54.00 per hour
