To support QSP’s growth, we are currently seeking a GIS Technician for full time work in the downtown Toronto area. All necessary training will be provided to the successful candidates.

The successful candidates will possess one or more the following qualifications:

· Working knowledge of at least one of the following: Geographical Information Systems, ESRI (ArcGIS/ArcFM), MicroStation, AutoCAD or PATCH Manager.

· Minimum post secondary education in a related field such as GIS, Engineering Technology, Drafting, or Technical training.

· Industry experience with a focus on utility mapping and/or CAD (Gas, Electric, and Telecommunications) would be considered an asset.

· Familiarity with telecom asset records would be considered an asset.

· Exceptional attention to detail, organizational, and communication skills are highly regarded.

· Experience in QC would be considered an asset.

· A good understanding and command of the English language.
