What is the opportunity?
J.P. Morgan’s EMEA Equity Research department is looking for an Analyst/Associate to work within our top rated European Telecoms franchise in London.
Who are you?
If you are a passionate, inquisitive, and detail focused Equity Research or Investment Banking professional with experience within the Telecoms sector and have strong knowledge of Equity Research and financial modelling this role is for you.
What will you be doing?
You will be working within our top rated team, under the mentorship and guidance of the Senior Analysts.
The Primary Responsibilities Will Initially Include
- Contribution to writing of research reports, including thematic deep-dives, strategic reviews, results analysis, industry / company presentations and more
- Communication with institutional investors and company representatives, as well as internal clients (Sales, Sector Specialists & Trading) and other stakeholders
- Creating, maintaining and updating company models and databases
What skills do you need?
The Key Requirements For This Role Include
- Experience in Research, Banking (Industry, ECM, M&A) is a requirement
- Passion for markets, stocks and investing
- Strong analytical, accounting and quantitative skills
- Ability to communicate clearly, concisely and confidently with colleagues and external clients
- Fluency in English is essential, both oral and written
- Ability to produce accurate and detailed materials
- Strong time management skills
- Advanced Excel, Word and PowerPoint proficiency
- Data analysis and coding skills would be beneficial
