Royal Villa Care Center is hiring full-time and part-time positions for the following shift: 11 PM – 7 AM. Graveyard Shift.

We are located at 1713 Center Avenue, Payette, ID.

Position: Resident Care / Assistance with Medication

Responsibility for performing a variety of functions in providing quality care to residents. Within the limits of delegation, in order to provide personal care and emotional support to residents. You will assist with activities of daily living, housekeeping, and and meaningful activities. You will represent the highest standards of the Royal Villa commitment to individuals, their families and our community.

Qualifications:

• Minimum qualification of high school diploma or GED.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• This job will require, at times, the employee to lift an excess of 50 pounds in helping residents. Proper lifting techniques must be used to avoid injury to staff or resident.
• Must be able to pass criminal background check.
• Must be in good health.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Must be compassionate and give excellent resident care.
• Must be able to communicate effectively, both written and verbal.
• Must have basic computer knowledge.
• Must show up as scheduled.

Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to

• A commitment to “person-directed” care.
• Assist residents in all aspects of ADL’s including, dressing, bathing, housekeeping, meals and activities.
• Develop relationships with residents that support their abilities.
• Perform daily record-keeping for residents and report any changes in routine or behavior to the Wellness Supervisor.
• Facilitate socialization among residents and engage in meaningful interactions.
• Attend and participate in monthly staff meetings, care conferences or in-service training.
• Maintain a team focus and winning attitude with staff and families.

As required by the Administrator of Management

• Administer medications to residents when needed after being trained and delegated by nursing staff.
• Resident and facility laundry and room housekeeping duties including dusting, vacuuming, taking out garbage, cleaning bathrooms.
• Preparing and serving evening meal.

Job Type: Full-time / Part-time

Pay: $15 – 20 per hour, depending on experience.

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Graveyard Shift 11P-7AM
• Holidays
• Monday to Friday
• Weekends

Experience:

• Experience preferred; however, we will train and advance all certification fees** (if employed 6 months or more, fees will be waived.)

COVID-19 considerations:
All staff are required to wear masks while in the facility. It is highly recommended, although not required, that our employees be vaccinated for the Covicd 19. Will assist employee with the vaccination process and provide the required time off.

Experience:

• caregiving: 1 year (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• Assistance with Medication Certification (Preferred)
• CPR and First Aid Certification (Preferred)
