About the opportunity:

Jacobs Field Solutions provide Engineering support and construction delivery to Defence and Nuclear sector clients from our Thatcham facility. We require an experienced Administrator to support our work at AWE.

This role will require security clearance. Previous experience on nuclear sites would be advantageous.

  • Comply with the JFS & Client procedures, processes & standards and ensure that all project team personnel comply with the specific procedures relating to Handover so that a ‘soft landing’ is assured.
  • Provide handover status reporting to the Project Manager
  • Work collaboratively with JFS Document Control and Quality to forecast the progress of Lifetime Quality Records in line with the schedule
  • Effectively and accurately communicate relevant project Handover information to the client and project team
  • Assist the client in the production of Handover Management Arrangements.
  • Communicate ideas for improving any processes with a positive and constructive attitude, and encourage this attitude in others
  • Assuring deliverables and arrangements between all participating stakeholders are agreed and appropriately accounted for
  • Ensure that suppliers and project team understand the AWE Handover Process and are aware of AWE’s handover expectations
  • Assess Handover performance of external suppliers
  • Attend client meetings representing the project on handover matters.

Here’s What You’ll Need:

  • A working understanding of a project, from conception to final completion.
  • Previous experience in a similar role is essential
  • Proficient in the MS Office Suite of products
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • The ability to multi-task

– Strong interpersonal and influencing skills with the ability to work with cross – functional teams

  • Has a good understanding of Company, contract, and H&SAW legislation particularly CDM and the contents of the H&S file.
  • Experience of chairing project meetings
  • Attention to detail with a strong attitude to delivery of documentation to a high quality.
