We are looking for a transformational leader to drive the Recruiting agenda for O2 Telefonica, covering all business units and their specific demands. You will be leading and helping to build a dedicated recruiting team distributed over Germany as of our hybrid work concept. You will be closely working with our other Organizational Performance departments to lead the development of a best in class, end to end recruiting experience, integrated with our talent- performance and skill management approaches, as well as employee engagement and employer branding initiatives. We are looking for someone who is excited to take ownership, able to lead a team of significant size and reliable to help the organization navigate the big talent questions.
What are your challenges with us?
- Developing and driving a strong recruitment strategy along our business transformation plans
- Building strong relationships with key internal stakeholders for their hiring needs along transformation goals
- Collaborating with top executives and the Board on skill requirements, challenging the market supply vs. demand
- Driving continuously recruitment process improvements that increase efficiency and result in excellent candidate and hiring manager experience
- Driving the digitalization of recruiting processes and tools further along our ambition to be a data-driven and technology focused organization
- Leading and developing a team up to 10 people, some of them in very senior recruiting roles, and provide guidance on their career development
- Setting KPIs for the team and reporting key results to the Board members and top-level executives
- Analyzing trends and incorporating them to the recruiting operating model
- Managing and extending a network for external partners (including startups)
What are you bringing?
- A Master’s degree in business administration, psychology or related subjects
- 10 years of professional experience in recruiting, talent acquisition and management (end-to-end)
- 3-5 years of experience in leading large-scale projects in the HR context, preferably achieved in a top-tier executive search consultancy and/ or an HR technology startup
- Broad knowledge of the talent market in Germany with focus on TECH profiles and a strong network
- Significant experience in improving recruiting processes and/ or system applications in favor of candidate and hiring experience
- Experience in leading and developing teams >5 people
- A data-driven way of working, growth mindset and strong can-do attitude
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills on top management level
- Professional language skills in German and English, Spanish is a plus
