Ims Voice Core Delivery Manager

I’m recruiting for a IMS Voice Core Delivery Manager with project delivery experience in telecoms. MUST HAVE IMS Voice Core, Fixed Transmission Networks and/or mobile operator experience. Initial 12 months contract. Remote working (UK ONLY) Daily rate DOE.
The role holder will be key to employ effective matrix management, driving project teams and influencing key stakeholders drawing on sound interpersonal skills whilst operating industry recognised Project methodologies underpinned by people & cultural development paths in order to deliver best in class performance.

Main tasks

• Arrange change requests, approvals, book resources, maintain the implementation plan
• Co-ordination of events, project tasks and appropriate escalation
• Diligent update of RAID register (project risks, actions, issues and decisions)
• Contribute to project definition workshops, post implementation reviews, etc.
• Efficient use of resources
• Responsible for the project delivery
• Ensure to maintain a good quality project delivery
• Manage challenging timescales

Required compentences:

• BA/BSc degree in Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
• At least 2 years of experience as a delivery manager, project coordinator or similar within a telecoms environment
• Strong technical background in the Telecommunication / IT industry
• Potentially have niche experience in either fixed network, transmission or voice core project area
• Leadership competences & team player mindset
• Outstanding presentation and communication skills in English, any other language is an advantage
• Experience in an international environment and understanding of different cultures
• Preferably a member of the Association for Project Management, Prince 2 Practitioner, PMI equivalent or PPM accredited.

Desirable :

• Knowledge of UK Mobile Network business processes and cross-functional working experience.
