About us:

The Spacecraft Production department covers the Assembly Integration and Test (AIT) phase of Communications Modules for Telecommunications Satellites.
Portsmouth is the centre of excellence for Payload integration and this exciting workplace offers you the opportunity to get up close and personal to the processes and hardware within this department.

The AIT Project Management Office sits within a process based organisation which supports multi project working.
Typically 1 Project Manager is appointed for each satellite payload.

What will you be doing?

This placement offers an opportunity to see the day to follow the day to day Project management process for Satellite Payload production. In addition to this it will entail developing the Project Management Office dashboard, defining and monitoring KPI’s and help drive efficiency within the Project Management Office and other functions within Spacecraft Production.

Successful candidates will be able to demonstrate the following;

• 3 A levels (or equivalent) or existing relevant Level 3 qualifications, and English, Maths and ICT at Level 2. Other relevant or prior experience also be considered as an alternative.
