As an inside sales and customer service representative, you will play a pivotal role in the growth of Alpine Power Systems inside sales network. Objectives:
- Act as a pivotal team member of the motive power inside sales team and assist the inside sales team in reaching our monthly revenue goal.
- Ensure all quotes are responded to within 30 minutes or less.
- Ensure all quotes are followed up via call and email within 48 hours of quote creation.
- Follow Alpine Power’s quoting process.
- Track quote creation and completed sales via Salesforce.
Job Responsibilities
Customer Service- Answer customer calls and questions regarding products.
- Match inventory with customer needs.
- Follow Salesforce quoting process.
- Update Salesforce with the customer account and contact information.
- Send order (freight) tracking information to customers after each shipment.
- Coordinate rental orders and agreement returns.
- Set up new customer accounts (Including acquiring credit references).
- Field warranty claims and work with the Director of Inside Sales to find solutions.
- Lead Generation and Customer Outreach
- Assist wholesale team with outreach calls.
- Update Salesforce with the customer account and contact information from outreach calls.
- Perform regular inventory analysis and propose strategies on how to move products.

Sales Strategy
- Work with inside sales team members to create product packages.
- Review lost opportunities weekly and strategize with the inside sales team on how to lower the lost count.
- Negotiate prices on larger orders.

Basic Qualifications
- Technologically savvy – well-versed in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Excel, and Word
