Your future role on our team

We’re looking for someone who’s interested in being trained as a SCADA integrator within our Infrastructure and Operational Technology team. BBA supports several clients in the North American renewable energy sector. Your role will be to help integrate renewable energy projects (wind, hydro, solar, storage), and develop and maintain relationships with our clients.

• Implement configuration and programming changes to our clients’ corporate SCADA systems.
• Design the architecture of data collection systems.
• Solve technical problems at source.
• Ensure system availability and reliability.
• Effectively communicate changes and train operators.
• Coordinate and facilitate project transfer from the Construction group to the Operations group.
• Carry out commissioning work.

Overview Of Certifications And Job Requirements

• Undergraduate degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering
• Ability to draft technical documents
• Asset: bilingual (English and French), both spoken and written
• Asset: experience with PLC and HMI/SCADA systems
• Asset: experience with OSIsoft’s PI System historian
• Asset: knowledge of industrial communication protocols
• Asset: knowledge of TCP/IP networks and routing
