We are hiring an Internet Field Technician/ Installer. This job will require you to greet customers, enter customers residence, troubleshoot connectivity issues, install equipment, install fiber to the home as well as use of a ladder to obtain access to customers rooftops.

If you have experience with Wireless Internet and Fiber to the home – FANTASTIC! However, we can train the right person. If you have experience in cable, satellite, electrical, construction you will pick it up quickly.

This is an exciting full-time, hands-on role requiring working independently at various locations including customers’ homes.

Essential Job Functions

• Install new service for customers
• Service calls
• diagnose & troubleshoot connectivity problems with assistance
• Perform equipment upgrades for existing customers
• Keep accurate & current inventory & vehicle maintenance logs
• Maintain company-issued assets including tools, equipment & vehicles
• Provide highest level of customer experience in all interactions with customers
• Safely drive company vehicle (Must have a valid Driver’s License)
• Self-motivated and able to learn quickly
• Other related duties as directed

Job Requirements

• SAFETY FIRST!
• Friendly, positive with outstanding customer service skills
• Current valid Driver’s License with clean driving record
• Ability to drive a vehicle without presenting a safety risk to yourself or others
• A company vehicle, while working in the service area, is provided
• Regular attendance required
• Must be comfortable working on roofs and ladders at varying heights & in confined spaces
• Be comfortable using hand and power tools
• Perform a variety of tasks both at customer home-sites, offices that may include physical and menial tasks
• Able to work in all types of weather including hot, cold, rain, snow, wind, etc.
• Legally authorized to work in country of employment without requiring sponsorship for employment visa status
• Must pass a background check
• Efficient time management skills
• Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment with changes to schedules and fluctuating priorities
• Ability to lift 80+ lbs

Education:

• High school or equivalent (Preferred)

Pay: $27.00 – $35.00 per hour
