BUSINESS UNIT / GROUP / DEPARTMENT PURPOSE
The Finance, Digital & IT Team of the Alaska Business Unit (BU) has a key responsibility to define and deliver integrated foundation Information, Communication and Technology to support operations, organisation strategy and decision making while providing a common, reliable, and responsive experience across the organisation.
The Digital IT Function comprises of Business Engagement; Business Applications; Infrastructure & Operations; Telecommunications; High Performance Computing; Support Services; and Information Management disciplines.
The Project Management discipline supports the business by successfully delivering IS Projects.
POSITION PURPOSE & KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The IS Project Manager is responsible for delivering the Business Units’ IS Projects related to the Technology Roadmap, ensuring all technology solution requirements are delivered to expected quality and within time and cost constraints in conjunction with Alaska’s Development project timeline.
Responsibilities:
- Define IT Project implementation schedules, aligning to Development Project’s timeline and events
- Identify resources, internal and external, required for full scale rollout of all IT Projects
- Collaborate with Global PMO office on schedule and required PMO processes and reporting
- Collaborate with D&IT Business Relationship Managers (BRM) on identified Solutions
- Develop, manage and report on budgets for IT Projects
- Provide accurate and timely Status Reports
- Meet with stakeholders regarding project(s) issues and decisions
- Effective management of project(s) risks
- Ensure a successful hand-off of implemented Solutions to the D&IT team for ongoing O&M
QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- Bachelors or Masters in business or related field
- Project management accreditation preferred
- Strong communication written and verbal
- Experience using project management software for scheduling, cost management, risk management and document management, such as P6, Documentum, SAP PM/PPS
- Experience using computers for a variety of tasks
- Competency of Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint
- Minimum 5 years in technology project management delivery, with similar business-wide roadmap delivery preferable.
- Oil and gas industry experience
- Ability to manage highly visible technical solutions with multiple stakeholders
- Effective Identification, prioritization and delivery of project deliverables
- Proven experience in Program Management
- Proven stakeholder management skills
- Proven leadership experience managing a multi-disciplinary team
Job Types: Contract, Full-time
Pay: $60,000.00 – $80,000.00 per year
