Your Tasks

• Ensuring the operation of IT application systems, with a focus on aviation (e.g. airport operational databases, resource management systems, flight information display systems).
• System administration, customizing, parameterization and monitoring of the systems.
• Organization and mapping of data exchange with partner systems and service providers (e.g. airlines, German air traffic control).
• Strategic further development of existing aviation systems and processes.
• System analysis, participation in planning and preparation of investment measures.
• Introduction of application software
• Creation and maintenance of documentation
• Error analysis and elimination

Your Profile

• You have a degree in the field of information and telecommunications technology or communications engineering, computer science or business informatics or a completed apprenticeship with many years of professional experience
• You have knowledge and experience of operating systems, relational databases and scripting languages
• First experience in project management is desirable
• You have the understanding of complex IT systems as well as operational processes gladly in the aviation environment
• You are confident in the use of the English language
• You convince with a communicative and reliable appearance
• You have a distinctive structured, action-oriented and analytical way of working and like to work together in a team
• You are in possession of a driver’s license class B
• A high degree of reliability, independence and flexibility completes your profile
