IT Network Manager

Our client is seeking a Network Administrator to join their organization. This position requires a detail oriented, proactive, independent, self-driven individual who is experienced and knowledgeable in keeping an organization’s computer network up-to-date and operating at full efficiency.

Specific areas of responsibility for this position include:

· Ensure availability of critical services (internet, DNS, Sonic Wall, email, voicemail, public website)

· Research and respond to emerging security threats and trends

· Manage Active Directory, IP networks, and connected devices

· Identify, test, and install software upgrades and patches

· Monitor systems to detect and proactively address performance and stability issues

· Collaborate with department and senior leadership to research, select, configure, and deploy technology

· Configure and provide user support for internal phone system

· Provide hardware and software support to users, including mobile users with Android and iOS devices

· Configure, maintain, and upgrade security solutions and respond to incidents

· Implement company data protection plan to address disaster recovery, versioning, and order needs

· Ensure all software is properly licensed

· Work with data and telecom vendors to resolve issues and renew service

· Other duties as assigned by management

The ideal candidate will possess the following skills/experience/attributes:

  • 5+ years of professional experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or related field
  • Capable of working independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication skills, especially with users
  • Ability to learn quickly through research and independent study
  • Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
  • Willingness to accept new challenges
  • Available for occasional evening or weekend work

In addition, the ideal performer will be a motivated self-starter with good interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively on verbal and written levels.

Pay: $60,000.00 – $75,000.00 per year
