IT PROJECT MANAGER

Our client is looking for an IT Project Manager to join the IT Network and Telecommunications team to help with the coordination of different projects.

This position is onsite in Portland, OR but the selected candidate will be able to work 2 days from home in the Portland area.

Job title : Technical Project Manager

Location Address: Portland, OR

Onsite work required? Hybrid, at least 3 days per week on site

Project Duration : 1 year at least

Responsibilities

Coordination of the different activities to relate to IT Network and Telecommunications projects:

1. Procurement coordination

2. Project planning

3. Control project execution and generate progress reports

4. Create project plan

5. Coordinate different implementation teams/vendors

6.Risk management

7. Control and generation of project documentation

8. Provide solutions to problems with the help of the technical team

9. Run follow up meetings with upper management.

A few examples of the IT Network and Telecommunications projects are:

WAN circuit replacements/upgrades, hardware lifecycle replacements/upgrades and new site network infrastructure deployment

Requirements

1. Experience of 5 years as PM and 3 years minimum in Network IT infrastructure projects:

a. WAN circuits deployment/replacement

b. Hardware lifecycle replacement/upgrades

c. Site infrastructure deployment

2.Ability to understand business requirements, concerns and manage interaction between different parties

3.Good communication skills

4.Good documenting skills

5.Strong Interpersonal Skills.

6.Proactive attitude.

Certifications? Required or preferred?

Preferred: CCNA, PM

Our client, a Company in the utilities sector is looking for a Project Manager to join the IT Network and Telecommunications team to help with the coordination of the different projects that the area undertakes as part of their regular activity.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $50.00 – $60.00 per hour

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Portland, TX 78374: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Experience:

• Technical Project Manager: 5 years (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• CCNA, PM (Required)
