About the Role
We are looking for a Project Manager (PM) to join Information Technology team. As a Project Manager you will oversee the delivery of IT Projects at the OCS. Leveraging your strong technical knowledge and project management experience, you will drive and influence the delivery of these projects that span across multiple cross-functional teams.
In this role, the PM is fluent in working with development teams, and have a thorough understanding of wholesale, merchandising, and marketing. Above all else, the Project Manager owns the obstacles and challenges that come with complex delivery by adding structure and leadership and plays a crucial part in ensuring the OCS delivers a first-class digital experience from wholesale and operational perspective.

About Your Day
- Working alongside program managers that will ensure the goals and objectives are aligned across the organization
- Develop and execute change management plans to ensure successful deployment of projects and engage with stakeholders to track status/issues
- Develop, implement, manage and report on integrated project plans and drive delivery of tasks with different project teams
- Identify and lead efforts to remedy risks and issues, establishing effective paths to resolution
- Assess business impact, influence project timelines, and drive accountability in a fast-paced environment strong interpersonal and organizational skills
- Manages vendor and contractor relations and performance of the overall solution and delivery process
- Oversee cross-functional delivery of projects covering a range of teams and systems.
- Communicate status and issues in a concise, accurate, and professional manner that is mindful of an executive audience for consumption
- Assist procurement in the preparation of various formal technology acquisition and/or service-related contractual documents, such as Request For Information/Proposal/Quotation (RFI/P/Q), Statement of Work (SOW), Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) and Service Level Agreement (SLA)
- Manage project artifacts, track deliverables and ensure the communication channels are established for effective team member collaboration
- Develop strong partnerships with key stakeholder groups across the business, technology, and vendors
About You
- Completion of Post-Secondary education in Computer Science or related area of study OR equivalent combination of experience and post-secondary education
- Formal project management training and/or possessing a PMP certification is an asset
- 5+ years’ experience in software project management, preferably in retail or regulated industries (banking, telecom, public sector)
- Experience in working with teams operating in Waterfall (SDLC) and Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, XP) as well as with project management tools (ex. JIRA & Confluence)
- Experience working in a shared project management environment with multiple project managers managing the same project
- Experience with web services and service-oriented architectures in a complex enterprise environment
- Strong business acumen with strategic, analytical, and critical thinking
- Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Advanced knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Project as well as any other project management tools
- Ability to work independently and cooperatively with others in a multidisciplinary team environment
Remote Work
- This position offers a Hybrid work schedule. You will be required to be in the office a minimum of 1 day each week, with the ability to work from home for the remaining workdays (subject to specific business needs requiring office attendance).
- When working from home, a reliable internet connection is required. Remote work is supported with cloud-based applications and collaboration tools (i.e., MS Teams)
