Overview
**This position is contingent upon award of contract**
SOSi is seeking a highly qualified IT Manager to serve as the Government’s single point-of-contact for a network and telecommunications contract and to provide overall leadership and guidance for all contractor personnel assigned to the contract. This position can be remote with the need for occasional on-site customer support in Washington, DC.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate progressive IT experience in IT Network Operations and Engineering. At least one project of similar scope shall have occurred within the past three (3) years with a total contract value greater than $10M and global delivery in a highly complex environment. Oversight or management of at least one project shall have been conducted in accordance with a CMM certified, Agile, and ITIL approach.
- Demonstrate proven experience and documented success supervising large IT services contracts, including people of various job categories and skills.
- Demonstrate expertise in the management and control of costs and resources and demonstrated capability in managing projects of this type and complexity.
- Demonstrated experience providing system modernization and innovation that resulted in increased operational efficiency or cost savings.
- Have at least 10 years of experience
- Manage staff located on site and at other assigned locations.
- Compute and accumulate data for use in analysis.
- Help develop work standards and methodology.
- Prepare, analyze, and evaluate reports, procedures, and policy data.
- Establish and maintain relationship with subcontractors and vendors that provide goods and/or services to the contract.
- Develop and/or update SOPs to ensure continued alignment with evolving mission requirements.
- Responsible for the operations of the program in accordance with the established company and Government policies, procedures, systems, and requirements.
- Create an atmosphere of comradery in the workforce and promote open communication.
- Evaluate and assess the programs’ strengths & weaknesses; drive continuous improvement.
- Assist with the development of systems, processes, and tools to enhance program performance.
Qualifications
- Hold a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Information Technology (with a preference for Master’s degree in Business Administration (MBA) or Information Technology).
- Hold a current PMP certification, or equivalent.
- Hold an ITIL certification, or equivalent
- 10 years’ experience with regulations, manuals, technical orders, standards, and industry publications related to logistics support.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience managing personnel in OCONUS projects.
- Secret level clearance desired.
