IT Project Manager – Telecom

The Project Manager is responsible for Planning, Implementation, and daily tracking of multiple Projects inside the Engineering department to ensure expected business outcomes. The Project Manager will champion and enforce change management discipline, generate and maintain Project Documentation and provide weekly and monthly KPI reports about engineering project Status and overall network performance. Reponsibilities include: managing multiple projects which involved new installations, migration and upgrades of data center-grade network implementations. Managing multiple timelines and coordinate resources to ensure deadlines are consistently met. Developing technical requirements for various phases [initiate to close] of each project which requires extensive collaboration with management, construction, fiber, RF, head-end, network, voice, GPON, security, media-room and field engineers.

MUST HAVE:

• Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or related field.
• 5 years’ experience in project engineering/management
• PMP certification required

Preferred:

• CCNA Preferred
• ITIL v3 – Information Technology Infrastructure Preferred
• Fundamental Cisco experience in medium to large multi-site environments
• Experience with basic troubleshooting of firewalls, PBX, switches, routers etc.
• Basic understanding of the TCP/IP suite

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $100,000.00 – $120,000.00 per year
