First and Second Line IT Helpdesk Support Engineer with strong communication skills, self-motivation experience using and supporting O365 is required for a well-established engineering company based in Bristol, South West England.
SALARY: £25,000 – £30,000 per annum + Benefits (See Below)
LOCATION: Bristol, South West England
JOB TYPE: Full-Time, Permanent
WORKING HOURS: 37.5 hours per week
JOB OVERVIEW
We have a fantastic new job opportunity for a First and Second Line IT Helpdesk Support Engineer with strong communication skills, self-motivation experience using and supporting O365.
Working as a First and Second Line IT Helpdesk Support Engineer you will provide telephone and desk-side assistance for IT related hardware and software technical queries, both standard packages and bespoke.
As a First and Second Line IT Helpdesk Support Engineer you will provide support for telecoms and mobile devices including engineering iPads. It be necessary to visit the remote branches to carry out IT related maintenance and installations.

DUTIES
Your role as the First and Second Line IT Helpdesk Support Engineer will include:
Day to day support for 600 desk-based and remote users
Administration of user accounts and security permissions on various platforms
Support/Administration for O365
PC software installations and configurations including Operating System
Hardware rollouts and refreshes
Provide support for telecoms and mobile devices including engineering iPads
Ensure that all support calls are recorded accurately on our helpdesk system
Provide coaching to end users
1st/2nd line support of IT related issues covering PC’s, laptops, mobile devices, telephony and networking
Visit remote branches as necessary to carry out IT related maintenance and installations
Work in line with departmental and company policy
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS
Experience of working in a similar role
A college education
Experience using/supporting O365
Working knowledge of Active Directory
Knowledge of at least one MDM Tool such as Airwatch
Working knowledge of Windows 7 and 10 is essential
The ability to work alone and as part of a team
The ability to prioritise own workload and complete calls on time
Excellent communication skills with all level of employees
The ability to liaise effectively with third party suppliers
The understanding of confidentiality and integrity
