Forefront Living is growing and looking to add a IT Support Specialist Project Manager to our Team!

This individual will manage our third party vendors that provide IT support. They will independently provide routine to complex day-to-day hands-on support for the organization’s end users, laptops, desktops, servers, mobile devices, and applications to promote seamless use of the IT infrastructure in the work environment. The position will also be responsible for troubleshooting and resolving technical problems with third party vendors and providing training to users to maximize the productivity value of technology in business.

IT Duties and Responsibilities

  • Good communication skills with a commitment to understanding customer requirements as well as business objectives.
  • Work well in a team-oriented environment.
  • Ability to provide effective, strategic advice on the use of technology to achieve shared goals.
  • Configure, deploy, maintain, troubleshoot, and support computer workstations, laptops, printers, mobile devices, phones and other computer and telecommunications equipment.
  • Install and support PC, laptop, tablet and mobile hardware and software (certifications from CompTIA, and Microsoft are a plus).
  • Participate in hardware and software reviews and recommend purchases.
  • Commitment to supporting new technology implementation.
  • Patience and ability to train users in both new and existing IT systems.
  • Be proactive in anticipating and resolving problems. Take ownership and initiative for problem resolution, spot potential problem areas, analyze solutions, propose resolution, and ensure implementation.
  • Ability to produce concise yet thorough reports within IT and for other teams as needed.

IT Requirements and Qualifications

  • BS/BA in computer science, IT or relevant field
  • Significant experience as IT Professional in a corporate setting; comfortable with working in community setting as needed as well.
  • Proven ability to troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues quickly and effectively.
  • Highly experienced with various operating systems and databases.
  • Track record of successful project management.
  • Critical thinking skills and an analytical mind with strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Enthusiastic about working collaboratively.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Pleasant demeanor and strong customer service skills.
  • Solid interpersonal skills.
  • Certification as IT Technician will be an advantage (CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified IT Professional)
  • Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills
  • Perform work with little supervision and requires initiative and judgment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $70,000.00 per year

  • 8 hour shift

Experience:

  • Help desk: 2 years (Preferred)
  • Desktop support: 2 years (Preferred)
