Major Responsibilities / Duties:
- Plan and install network installations by using work orders, plans, manuals, and technical specifications provided from Project Managers.
- Running, pulling, terminating, and splicing copper and fiber optic cables (CAT5, CAT6, coax, low voltage cables, 25 pair, 50 pair, and Fiber). We also mount telecommunications equipment, routers, switches – all while following industry standards, best practices and manufacturer requirements.
- Install cable pathway systems (cable trays, cable racks, cabinets, J-hooks or D-rings) by using power or manual fasteners, drills or other power equipment.
- Must have knowledge of basic computer skills and be able to demonstrate good writing skills.
- Must be knowledgeable in codes, industry standards and best practices.
- Be able to lift, carry and set up equipment as is typical for the industry.
Maintain a safe work environment by following codes, standards, and legal requirements
Job Types: Part-time, Full-time
Part-time hours: 15-25 per week
Salary: $18.00-$25.00 per hour
Schedule:
- Day shift
- Evening shift
- Night shift
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Bathurst, NB: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
