NET CHECK, dedicated to providing high-quality engineering services to the Telecommunications industry for almost 20 years, is continuously expanding its global presence. We are currently seeking IT Systems Development Engineers to complement our team in Berlin.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

As an IT Systems Development Engineer, you will:

  • develop, set up, and maintain network testing equipment for telecommunications and big data projects,

  • design and support testing environments and support ongoing projects,

  • work internally as part of the organization’s Engineering team and take an integral role in the development,

  • manage and monitor all installed systems and infrastructure,

  • proactively ensure the highest levels of systems and infrastructure availability,

  • monitor and test application performance for potential bottlenecks, identify possible solutions, and work with developers to implement those fixes,

  • maintain security, backup, and redundancy strategies,

  • write and maintain custom scripts to increase system efficiency and lower the human intervention time on any tasks,

  • participate in the design of information and operational support systems,

  • provide 2nd and 3rd level support,

  • liaise with vendors and other IT personnel for problem resolution.

YOUR Profile:

Mandatory Requiriments:

  • University degree in computer science, computer software/computer systems engineering, computer systems and networks, electrical/electronic engineering, mathematics, network security management, physics

  • Linux and Bash scripting,

  • Experience or knowledge in telecommunications-related fields (fixed and/or mobile),

  • TCP/IP Protocol Stack Knowledge,

  • Relational databases and SQL Scripting,

  • Fluent in English (spoken and written).

Optional Requirements:

  • Additional language (German) is an advantage,

  • Cloud experience,

  • Python, C#, or Java programming skills,

  • Experience with monitoring systems.
