Description

The Premier League’s IT team is looking for a technician with first and second line support experience. They will work within the Service Desk team to help provide IT support to both the Premier League and Professional Game Match Officials Limited (PGMOL), ensuring all support expectations are exceeded and staff remain as efficient as possible. The right candidate will have excellent IT skills and a strong background in a service role.Who we are

We have a wide variety of responsibilities. These include organising the competition and its Rule Book as well as managing the centralised broadcast and commercial rights. The work we do in conjunction with the Clubs also goes far beyond the 90 minutes. We support and provide a framework for youth and coach development, we protect the organisation’s intellectual property, support the wider game and community programmes, undertake international development work and liaise with governing bodies and other leagues.Our hybrid-working model also allows you some variety on your place of work, offering you the chance to work from home on some days each week. Where possible, you will attend the office or site visits in line with our company policy. All staff liaise closely with their line manager to manage their time appropriately and according to their work and team requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Providing IT and telecoms support to all staff at both the Premier League and PGMOL via the service desk
  • Diagnosing and troubleshooting incoming incidents within agreed SLA targets
  • Providing general support and maintenance of all desktops, laptops, phones and mobile devices
  • Office 365 administration
  • User account and domain management
  • Maintaining the software and hardware inventories
  • Assisting the IT department in any projects they are involved in
  • Management and support of all reprographic (including faxes and photocopiers)
  • Management and support of onsite Audio-Visual equipment
  • Supporting and administrating the IP Telephony System for Premier League and PGMOL
  • Producing and improving the corporate IT Knowledge Base

Requirements For The Role

  • Proven experience working in a similar technical IT role
  • Experience providing support for desktop platforms, including Windows 10
  • Proficiency with Office 365 administration and full Office Suite
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Active Directory
  • Intune administration
  • Experience in troubleshooting software and hardware faults
  • Problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure
  • Confidence in communicating with people and understanding their IT concerns
  • IT Service Management tool knowledge
