What is the opportunity?

This is an exciting opportunity for a recent graduate or an individual seeking to take their first or next step with a Digital, mobile focused organization. We are a fast growing Financial Technology company looking for an ambitious individual, a future leader who can deliver, learn and grow with the organization. We work with enterprise organizations in multiple sectors including Banking, Financial Services, Telecommunications and Utilities; around the world to implement and integrate our platform into their mobile channel. As a Junior Project Manager you will be supporting the delivery of multiple client facing software projects at every stage of the software project life cycle. We are seeking demonstrable experience of managing projects from inception through to delivery, and knowledge of project delivery methodologies. Although not essential, evidence of experience with or interest in SaaS (Software as a Service), mobile applications/ SDK, Fintech or AI would be appreciated.


Responsibilities:

  • Delivery Ownership: Lead the delivery of the Flybits platform to a variety of clients – responsible for driving projects from planning to Go-Live, and handover to our Customer Success teams
  • Project Tracking: Monitor project timescales including milestones, and collaborate with internal and client delivery teams to help ensure project deadlines and quality requirements are met
  • Planning: Own, track and maintain detailed and high level delivery plans
  • Project Scoping: Facilitate the definition of project scope, objectives, outcomes, dependencies and risks
  • Resource Management: Optimize internal resources to project resourcing requirements. Work with client project counterparts to ensure their deliverables are met
  • Status Reporting: Prepare status reports on progress of project deliverables for clients, partners and all interested stakeholders
  • Governance: Support the continuous improvement of internal processes and knowledge capacity building


Must Haves:

  • Education: Post graduate degree/diploma in a related field
  • Experience: Demonstrable 2+ years experience in Project or Change management
  • Stakeholder Management: Strong influencing, communication and relationship building capabilities
  • Methodology: Knowledge of Agile and Waterfall Project Management methodologies
  • Industry: Understanding of or experience with Mobile Applications, SaaS, Mobile Marketing, AI, or Fintech
  • Approach: Strong willingness to learn. Proactive, enthusiastic with a ‘can do’ attitude
  • Workload Prioritization: Strong analytical, planning, and organizational skills with an ability to manage competing priorities

  • This position is based out of our Toronto, Ontario office and employees are required to come into the office on Mondays, Tuesdays & Thursdays every week.
