You would be joining a growing Experience Consulting team working with design researchers, experience strategists and designers to create digital products and services for some of the world’s biggest brands across all industries.
At our heart we’re a problem solving capability that uses insight to design interventions to improve the lives of customers, employees, and citizens. We’re passionate about ensuring businesses focus on their purpose and their societal impact, and quietly proud to have played a role in shaping the way organisations connect with their customers responsibly and ethically.
The Role
This role is focused on the holistic interaction between organisations, customers and stakeholders.
As you develop as a Junior Service Designer, your day-to-day could include:
- Quickly formulating hypotheses based on insights and intuition;
- Design and facilitating multi-disciplinary co-creation workshops at different points throughout the product- and service-design lifecycle to explore those hypotheses;
- Analyse the interaction of your organisation with your customers and stakeholders.
- Spot opportunities for impactful product and service innovation.
- Create a desirable user experience addressing human and planetary needs.
- Collaborate with others to design the end-to-end journey of services…
- Working closely with third parties as part of delivery projects;
- Supporting business development through participation in proposals and client meetings.
In Addition, You Will
- Train on the job with the coaching and mentorship of our talented team of professionals, all with a wide range of experience to share and aid your growth but also give you the confidence to work autonomously.
- Gain the confidence to present in client conversations within your specialism, providing recommendations and helping guide clients to make responsible choices.
- Independently deliver outputs with the support and direction of senior designers, and begin to take ownership of projects as you progress.
Junior designers are recent graduates in a relevant degree or short course, or hands-on training through a successful apprenticeship or internship.
We Are Looking For Individuals Who Are
- Passionate about design craft and sweating the small details.
- A champion for the user and work to harmonise needs of the user (accessibility, usability) with more emotional values of design.
- You’re curious, a natural problem solver and enjoy the challenge of pushing work forward to uncover new and innovative solutions.
- Excited to be part of a fast growing team with big ambitions.
- Believe in better, bringing along positive energy and attitude to every interaction.
- Confident verbal and visual communicator.
