Job Description Summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a LACC (Land Access, Complaints and Compliments) Coordinator to join Service Stream in our Melbourne office.
About the Role
Service Stream’s Telecommunications division are currently seeking a LACC (Land Access, Complaints and Compliments) Coordinator to join our growing company. You will be responsible for ensuring that all projects are undertaken in compliance with the company’s legal obligations under relevant Commonwealth and State Legislation, including the Telecommunications Act 1997.
In this role, design proposals are assessed to ensure legislative and planning regulations are complied with and areas of Heritage and Environmental Significance are not impacted upon; Appropriate external stakeholders are identified, and suitable statutory and other approval channels are followed and are escalated when required.

Location: Melbourne, VIC
Reporting Line: Manager –Land Access, Complaints and Compliments
Key Responsibilities
Action tasks in prescribed project and customer relationship management software within designated time frames
Effective communication is a large aspect of this role.
Escalate to and manage external consultants when statutory approvals are assessed to be required.
Issue project legal documents to stakeholders and assess legal and contractual requirements
Regularly liaise with internal and external stakeholders, Councils and other government bodies and authorities.
Liaise internally with Regions and Construction teams to streamline works and apply mitigation strategies.
Liaise with government, private authorities and private individuals affected by proposed, current and previous projects
Understand and comply with all Telecommunication and relevant Commonwealth/State Legislation and Local government planning regulations.
Working collaboratively within the ServiceStream LACC team and equivalent client team to effectively manage end user Escalations in accordance with client requirements
About You
Courteous stakeholder communications skills.
Have/acquire knowledge of business software, database/project management systems and Microsoft Office
Project/Construction/Environmental background/experience
Previous Experience with Telecommunications/Construction Access Compliance Procedures/Planning procedures is highly desirable.
Initiative – Ability to self-assign/self-manage workload – work autonomously and responsibly.
Excellent liaison/communication/writing skills.
Excellent attention to detail
Problem solving, adaptability.
Highly organized and responsible – effective time management and prioritization skills.
