Lead Cloud Network Engineer (Telecom Support)

THE OPPORTUNITY:
OpenText is seeking a Lead Telecom Support Analyst who is highly motivated, experienced, and well-organized. Reporting to the Manager, Commercial Network Services responsibilities will focus on the management of our Commercial Network circuits as well as working with Auditors for quarterly audit reviews. The position involves interaction with our Management, Telecom vendors, internal and external auditors and other stakeholders.

WHAT YOU ARE GREAT AT:

• Maintain and update the Asset Manager (Inventory) system for the tracking of Telecom circuits installed, upgraded, or disconnected.
• Produce audit documents to support quarterly audits.
• Create, maintain, and updated network drawings pertaining to circuits.
• Produce Ad hoc reports, tracking schedules, analyses, and presentations as requested by Management.

WHAT IT TAKES:

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• 1-3 years of relevant Telecom experience working with Telecom providers in regards to ordering, coordinating installations, and disconnecting circuits.
• Computer Networking degree with equivalent work experience.
• Well-developed interpersonal, presentation, and communication skills.
• Ability to effectively prioritize workload and tasks to meet established deadlines.
• Ability to work independently and manage competing projects/assignments.
• Strong math skills and a working knowledge of GAAP.
• Knowledge of SAP and/or HP Asset Manager a plus.
• On-call rotation is a must. (includes holidays and weekends)
• Experience in configuring circuits or disconnecting circuits
