Logistics Manager – Telecommunications

This role is in support of a major telecom equipment vendor supporting multiple carriers. There is no relocation assistance and a local candidate is preferred.

Responsibilities:

• Must be able to work with minimal direction and supervision, self driver of all work.
• Strong understanding and experience in logistics/warehousing/inventory management/transportation processes.
• Responsible for overseeing the inbound of all material supply from Regional and/or National vendor warehouse into the various project warehouses.
• Ability to take lead on providing full tracking visibility and reports on status of delivery to project / site and supply correct material to the project, from tender support, forecasting, ordering, supply and final verification of proof.
• Knowledge in root causes analysis/problem solving and the ability to implement and drive corrective actions and efficiencies.
• Project management experience in logistics/warehousing/inventory management within the telecommunication industry or related experience.
• Possesses the ability to learn techniques and acquire knowledge in a short period of time.
• Ability to partner with project managers, construction managers, implementation managers, customer supply teams, third party logistics/warehouse Contractors, general contractors and vendors customers to gain an understanding of the project deliverables and timelines.
• Ability to multi-task and work under tight time lines and thrive on day to day operational pressure. Accountability and ownership are essential for this roll.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree preferred or greater than 7 years of applicable work experience.
• Must be proficient in Microsoft office suite of tools such as Access, Outlook, PowerPoint, Visio and Word
• Requires strong Excel capabilities, including pivot tables, V- lookups, formulas.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $110,000.00 – $115,000.00 per year
