Pay Range: $65,000 – $75,000 annually

What will I be doing?
Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:
Perform all work under the direction of a licensed engineer and designers.
· Perform drafting work including but not limited to project setup/closeout, redlines, plotting, and conforming to Prism PSG and/or customer standards and specifications
· Perform fire alarm design work including but not limited to de-install/install plans, field verifications, speaker/strobe layouts, riser diagrams, power/network diagrams, voltage drop/battery calculations, response matrix, IO schedules, and equipment details/elevations
· Perform security system design work including but not limited to de-install/install plans, field verifications, riser diagrams, power/network diagrams, access control hardware selections, IO schedules, camera coverages, and equipment details/elevations
· Perform telecom design work including but not limited to field verifications, de-install/install plans, AP heat maps, cable tray, fiber one-line diagrams, cross-connect schedules, facility data tables, diamond studies, and equipment installation details (elevations, BOM’s, schematics)
· Provide design support for services during construction including but not limited to submittal reviews, RFI responses, OAC meetings, design verifications, city comments, and start-up/commissioning
· Daily project reports may be required based on customer or project specific requirements
· Weekly expense reports will be completed when necessary and submitted to your supervisor. The company will reimburse approved business expenses including mileage at the standard government rate for the use of personnel vehicles
· Report to work five (5) days per week (Monday through Friday), 8AM – 5PM; work hours may change based on project requirements. Primary work location will be the Prism Engineering office located in Chandler, AZ; project and/or client requirements may require your primary work location be temporarily assigned to the client’s offices
What skills are we looking for?
· Proficient in basic computer systems such as Outlook, Excel, Word, Adobe, etc.
· Great organizational skills
· Self-motivated; can finish projects without direct supervision
· Willing to work frequent last-minute, overtime, rushed projects
· AutoCad experience
Required Education?
Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering
